"SOLVING COMMUNITY PROBLEMS" Cooperative Extension is part of the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, a component of the University of California. Cooperative Extension's mission is to serve California through the creation, development and application of knowledge in agriculture, natural and human resources. Advisors are academic employees of the University of California responsible for research and extension education programs in agriculture, the environment, natural resources managment, and human and community development.
